Gianluca MONTENGRO

Gianluca Montenegro was born in Marino(Rome) on 23 February 1978. In 2002 enrolled in the School of Violin Making in Gubbio directed by the Master Guerriero Spataffi, where he graduated in October 2004.
In 2003 he attended a course of specialization forviolin makers on the fixing and development ofviolin family instruments kept by the Masters Violin Makers Paolo Sorgentone and Michele Mecatti. After working for a little period in Naples at the workshop "LIUTARTE" , he moved to Florence in 2005 and started to work at the shop of the Masters Paolo
Sorgentone and Michele Mecatti where he work until now.
In 2009 he attended professional course of restoration kept by Master Carlos Arcieri.
He uses classic models.
