Beate KIENITZ

Born in Germany 19.03.1959, Beate Kienitz grew up in Rome , Italy . She started her training at the School of Violin-Making in Mittenwald. She subsequently worked in various workshops in six different countries, among others: Andreas K„gi, Berlin , Hieronymus K”stler, Stuttgart and Peter Biddulph, London . Since 1991, back in Italy , she works on her own, first in Turin and since 1997 in San Gimignano. For many years Beate worked mainly on the resoration of valuable instruments, whereas lately she concentrates on making new, as well as antiqued instruments.
