Marco ANEDDA

Marco Anedda was born in Cagliari ( Italy ) in 1980. He discovers the world of violin making in 1999 when he attends a course about the construction of acoustic guitar. Once he graduates from high school specialising in sciences, he enrols to the school of violin making of Gubbio ( Italy ). During the summer of 2002, he attends a course about the set up of stringed instruments held by Mr Sorgentone and Mr. Mecatti, of whom laboratories he uses to work during 2003-2004. Such a formative experience turns out to be of fundamental importance because it allows him not only to improve his constructive method, but also to learn restoration's techniques and come in contact with several instruments of important authors from the past. During the summer of 2004 he takes part of a course in Parma ( Italy ) held by Mr Zigmuntowicz's about the construction of ancient instrument's copies. Since 2005 , he sets up his own laboratory in Monterchi (Arezzo-Italy), where he builds new instruments and set up.
